Look Who’s 9 Months Old!

We have made it to 9 months! It’s strange because it feels like he’s been here a lot longer. Yet, I also think, how can it be nine months!? This little guy is such a fun, keep you on your toes kinda guy. A total fighter, when he has to be (sister gets a run for her money on sharing toys). A snuggle bug, who would really love to be held while you stand. Plus, a mover-and-a-shaker. Even though he loves to be held, he also loves to try to crawl up you or get down on the floor to explore or go to someone else’s arms…all in about 1-2 minute (or 30 second) cycles. He’s a constantly on-the-go!

Right now he’s standing, unassisted. In the middle of the room he will straighten his legs with his bum in the air and arms out in front of him, then slowly bring himself up. He looks utterly thrilled with himself (throwing his arms around) and it’s exhilarating to watch, as his Momma.

He started waving, a teeny bit. Got tooth #5 and we are starting to see #6 (which means he’s a drool machine). He babbles and makes trill noises all the time. Poor thing, also got pink eye (in both eyes) and had double ear infections. The only good that came out of that, was his mood changed, almost, overnight and he started sleeping through the night. DID YOU HEAR THAT!?!? SLEEPING THROUGH THE NIGHT!

I’m a new person, folks.

Just like L.L. we had a 9 month well visit that we passed with flying colors. You can see her blog post here! Our pediatrician was very happy with Cecito and even seemed like he was in a fun loving mood. He laughed and played with Cecito, leaving me feeling like I was walking on air. BUT that’s not the big reason I was so stoked after his appointment, just take a look at these stats:

Height: 30 inches (96%)
Weight: 18 lbs 11 3/4 oz (32%)
Head Circumference: 46.5 cm (87%)

Did you see that 96%!??! Momma’s still super stoked.
