Not sure if you noticed, but in the last post I had considerably less hair than normal (say 10+ less inches). I’ve been wanting to sport a new look since we got married, I just didn’t know what to do. AND I’m kinda certain that I wasn’t ready to cut it all off yet, BUT last weekend I was! It had been about a year (or maybe more) since my last hair cut and I was determined to make it something different and fun for the summer.
The way this always works is, I search for images of hair that I like and the wonderful hair stylist that I go to helps me figure out what to do. We sort of mesh things together and end up with the best haircuts I have EVER had, not to mention super fun cuts. She is a miracle worker – I swear! I have very fine and thin hair, but you wouldn’t ever know it with the way she cuts my hair. It’s ah-mazing and I don’t know what I will do if I ever have to find someone new. Panic will ensue, I’m sure.
I started off with incredibly long hair, pretty much to my waist and ended up with a SHAG! It’s the best and I love, love, love it! It took me to the third time to style it the way I like it and now I can’t wait to get out the door to show people the new look. Here it is:
What do you think? Don’t you just love it, too?! Oh, and I forgot to mention the bangs. Those took me about a week to get used to. The still make my forehead itch by the end of the day, but they are totally worth it. Who knew I could pull them off either. I’ve tried them before and they were a nightmare. Made me look like I barely had any hair and a fat face. Can I express anymore how great the girl I go to is!??!
Want to check out my hair stylist? Here is her website. Her name is Lucinda Teufel. She’s what the kids call, ‘The Real Deal’.
you look great!!
Thank you! My Mom is having a hard time without the long hair. She says both, us girls, had long hair for so long it takes her a while to get used to a new look on us. 😉
