We had a special birthday pass by us on the 14th…
Happy Birthday Daddy! It wasn’t one of the big ones, but we like to celebrate birthdays over here. Well, ok, I like to celebrate birthdays. I usually try to come up with something fun, but this year I was slacking. We have had one sickness after the other this month. It’s been brutal and I can’t seem to catch a break, I get them all, too.
So, we defaulted to a dinner out. Which is something we had yet to try, so we decided to wing it! Gil picked Blind Lady Ale House. He really enjoys it there, plus, it’s loud and they let you bring in kids. Score! We invited our neighbors to come along with us. They are a lot of fun and have a brand spankin’ new babe of their own. We were all on thin ice taking infants out to dinner.
Luckily it worked out. We all had a great time. Even L.L. had some salami pizza – this from a kid that doesn’t eat meat. Maybe we need to turn the lights down all the time so she doesn’t know what’s on her plate…hmmmm, now that’s an idea!
…and our Cecito turned 20 weeks! It was a big day for our family.
