We have made it to 30 weeks and 3 days – unbelievable, right!? I, for one, can’t fathom how quickly it is all going. Last weekend was my birthday and I was fretting about the baby registry. This weekend, we got it all worked out and started packing boxes of items from the office that can sit in the garage until we have a larger place.
I am feeling baby girl everyday, almost all day. While, most days I have to pinch myself that this is what life has actually turned out to be, for me.
Recently, I emailed with an old high school friend and realized how much I still can’t believe that we are going to become parents sometime in the next 10 weeks (or so). It really does feel like I stepped into the twilight world, but a good and rosy one. You know, kind of like Willy Wonka’s factory, when all the kids walk into the room with the flowing chocolate river and see tiny orange men. It’s a wonderment, just like that! One that I hope will continue for a long time.
We took a picture tonight, so I could show everyone the bump. I don’t know if I am just in a great mood or what, but I actually like this one and feel ‘cute’ — did I just say that?
