Granny + Grandpops Meet Cecito

Lets’s take a step back in time, just a couple of months ago. Back when my parents came to meet their new grandson. They were here for about four days. We spent most of our time at home. But did manage to get out to enjoy a few meals and to see the new Waterfront Park, downtown. I wasn’t able to take many pictures since I was nursing every hour or two, but we managed to get a few to share.

I have to say, it’s pretty amazing to watch your parents with your kids. A part of life I didn’t know about that is surprisingly satisfying and heart warming. My Mom has always said that you don’t want family to live to close to you, when you start your own. I completely agreed with her, at the time. Now that we don’t have any family remotely close to us, I don’t feel the same. We were sad to see them head home and look forward to them coming back to play.
