Sedona Chapel

Of course, you didn’t think that I was going to get the entire vacation in one blog post, right? Silly, there will be a few more even after this one. We were there almost a whole week!

This post is going to be about The Chapel of the Holy Cross, off-roading, and hanging out in the condo. Trip Advisor tells you that you have to go to The Chapel, amazing views with a beautiful teeny Chapel. The structure was inspired by Frank Lloyd Wright (so you know it’s cool!). We headed off in the morning and stayed out pretty much the whole day, which isn’t an easy feat toting an 8 month old.

Majestic is the best way I can describe of Sedona, in general, and this place didn’t disappoint. We weren’t there long, but definitely got a lot of pictures and they certainly speak for themselves.

After that we planned on driving around all the scenic roads to see more of the vast red rocks. We saw many many different places, while most of the rock formations have names I don’t recall them. The one I remember is Snoopy, but I didn’t get a photo of it, shocking (I know). Here are some other pictures though. They include us doing some off-roading. The strange thing about that is the baby fell asleep! I thought for sure it would be either a fun game or something she didn’t like, never expected her to start snoozing. I wonder that that means for our future with this little one?

Lastly, we end the day celebrating our fun (and marriage). We were given an outstanding bottle of champagne when we got married, which we were unable to enjoy before I got pregnant. Gil thought it would be ideal to enjoy it on our vacation, while I happen to agree. It was amazingly good and I now know why people pay more for it!

And I will end with some family fun pics with the baby.
